Rss feeds friendly or not?

Toby over at problogger.net has a great piece on the pros and cons of building relationships with RSS

Is RSS is the downfall of building relationships and commerce on blogs? First, let’s set the record straight. I’ve drunk the kool aid. I get it. I love RSS and that new orange icon is pretty cute too. The ability to read huge amounts of information in one place, receive it at the second it’s published and not worry about email spam is awesome.

But is Spam going to Kill off the benefits of this communication medium?

I say it won’t  we are going to start seeing RSS integrated into more things.  People expect their information they want to come to them not them go it.  Its a RSS world so get with it.

Azoogle Ads the better Alternative?

Blogherald posts a review from Andrew Johnsons Web Publishing Blog.  Andrew talks about the benefits of the Azoogle network of ads.  They also discuss the need to diversify your monetization streams.

After being with the program a month I’m still a long way off from earning those five figures. However, the ads have been sitting side by side my Google ads without any negative affect on either clickthrough rank or earnings. In fact, Adsense revenue has increased during this time.
Azoogle has the best support I’ve encountered online to date. You will get a personal account rep who will call & e-mail you to give you a hand in placing the best possible offers on your website. Where as with other affiliate networks where you blindy feel your way to the best performing offers, they will lead you straight to them. The first offers I put up did nothing; upon implementing the suggestions of my rep the money immediately started flowing.

Sounds like Azoogle may be worth checking out.
