While the new report from Pew Internet focuses on who is blogging, it does report that the number of American adults reading blogs more than doubled since February 2004 and is signiifcantly up since the Fall of 2005.

We say:
People are desperate for information from more than one source.  The media conglomerates combined to give us 2 or 3 voices.  We are more than 1 voice.  Other opinions count too.  That is why blogging is popular.

CBS and the Brave new Blogging World

CBS news has a story about blogging.  Its a interesting read from a basic point of view.  Mainstream media  I do believe is jealous of the little guy having a opinion.  What do they expect tho?  All the news is controlled by 4 or 5 big corps.  1 voice is not always the right voice.
