Monetizing Alternatives

Over at Buildingmyempire Empress has posted a blogosphere roundup.  The one that really caught my eye was the feedbuzzard list.  He lists 84 alternatives to adsense.  No doubt there are several alternatives not on this list.  I was just surprised to see so many methods to monetizing your blog

With this list at hand.  There should be no reason any of you cannot add a nice income from your website.

PayPerPost Spawn Of Web 2.0

Is Web 2.0 evil?  What is the agenda of PayPerPost.com?  Why do they want to pay bloggers?  Aren’t bloggers just happy to blog for free?  I think PayPerPost is out to give people a second income!  How dare they.  Isn’t it enough that bloggers blog.  I mean honestly  who wants this money thing.   Money is so for losers.  SO  if  you don’t want money to blog then  DON’T goto PayPerPost.com.  DON’T get paid to Blog.
Its your losss.

Web3.0 is already here?

Thats the claim of a company called YapTA!  The web2.0 crowd is still fresh eyed and fancy free. But wait now there is Web 3.0.  What in the world is Web 3.0?  According to YapTA! it is

*Web 2.0 is where consumers do all the work (blogging, social networking, make your own video, upload your photos, etc.)
*Web 3.0 is where smart programs do all the work for consumers -
that’s what YapTA does… it saves hours of work and hundreds, if
not, thousands of dollars per year in real, hard cash for the user all
for the free price of our software….let your imagination run wild.

YapTA is a web 3.0* start-up in stealth mode that plans on being a major piece of everyones life in the near term. We are consumer focused and our whole goal in life is making sure that we are considered a VERB. We want people to say, “honey… Did you YapTA it?”

We Say:
Sounds like another search engine doing a search thing.  5 bucks says I am right.  I doubt I will be YapTAing it anytime soon.
