Google is preparing the second generation of Glass

The Internet giant Google, it seems, is preparing to release the second generation of glasses of the augmented reality of Google Glass. Information about the secret device was found in the database of the Federal Communications Commission (Federal Communications Commission, abbreviated to FCC).

The device with the model number A4R-GG1 was found on the FCC website by foreign journalists and the fact that it is not classified as a smartphone or a tablet or a media device gave reason to assume that this is the second generation of Glass glasses. If so, they will be equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery and are endowed with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE with low power consumption. When the new Google Glass go on sale, it is still unknown.

Recall, in January 2015, Google announced that Google Glass withdrawn from the experimental department of Google X in a separate project. At the same time it was reported that the second generation of smart points would be developed “from scratch,” and it would appear on the market only after the company’s management was completely enough of them. And testing of new glasses, unlike their successors, will take place in conditions of the strictest secrecy.
