The new startup Oko, according to the idea of its authors, is intended to radically change what is now called photo shooting with the help of a smartphone. Modern gadgets are almost perfect, there is no dispute, which can not be said about their operators. The list of small and large claims to the mountain-photographers is large enough, but Oko, ostensibly, will help to solve them all in one fell swoop.
Technically, this is a flexible silicone attachment to the smartphone, which is equipped with two eyepieces. They are directed to the screen of the device, but do not abut it and have their own lenses, providing a 6-fold increase. The space between the eyepieces and the body of the smartphone is left blank – it conveniently fits your fingers to control the touch screen.
